Arrival to Uganda
Arrive in Uganda at Entebbe International Airport, where they are warmly welcomed and transferred to their hotel in Entebbe for an overnight stay. This day is reserved for arrival, relaxation, and recovery from the international flight as they prepare for the exciting safari ahead.

Transfer to Murchison NP via Ziwa
After an early breakfast, they depart Entebbe and begin their journey northwards toward Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, they stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an unforgettable guided rhino tracking experience on foot, Uganda’s only place to see wild rhinos. After the visit, they continue the drive to Murchison Falls National Park, entering the park later in the day and proceeding to Pakuba Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning game drive and Afternoon Boat cruise to the bottom of the falls
Starts with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile in Murchison Falls National Park, offering excellent chances to spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, and other wildlife in the open savannah. In the afternoon, they enjoy a scenic boat cruise on the Nile, traveling upstream toward the base of the mighty Murchison Falls, where they observe hippos, crocodiles, water birds, and animals along the riverbanks before returning to the lodge for the night.

Transfer to Kibale Forest NP
They leave Murchison Falls National Park and drive south-west through Uganda’s changing landscapes toward Kibale Forest National Park, known as the primate capital of East Africa. The journey takes them through countryside, tea plantations, and small towns before arriving at Turaco Tree Tops Lodge, located near the forest, where they relax and overnight.

Chimpanzee trekking and afternoon Bigodi swamp walk
This day is dedicated to primate encounters and community experiences. In the morning, they head into Kibale Forest for a guided chimpanzee trekking experience, tracking the lively chimpanzees in their natural rainforest habitat. In the afternoon, they visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk, well known for birdlife, monkeys, and rich community involvement, before returning to the lodge for the evening.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP
After breakfast, they transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through scenic crater lakes and lush countryside. Upon arrival, they check in at Elephant Hab Lodge, which offers beautiful views overlooking the Kazinga Channel, and spend the rest of the day relaxing as they enjoy the park’s atmosphere.

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
Begins with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, exploring the Kasenyi plains where lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and other wildlife are commonly seen. In the afternoon, they enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Uganda, before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Bwindi Via Ishasha
Depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and drive south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. After searching for these unique lions, they continue toward Bwindi, arriving at Mahogany Springs Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay near the gorilla trekking sector.

Gorilla tracking and Batwa walk
This is the highlight of the safari. After an early briefing at the park headquarters, they set off on a gorilla trekking experience, hiking through the dense forest to observe a habituated mountain gorilla family in its natural environment. In the afternoon, they participate in a Batwa cultural walk, learning about the traditions, history, and forest survival skills of the Batwa people, before returning to the lodge.

Transfer to Lake Mutanda
leave Bwindi and transfer to the tranquil Lake Mutanda, a stunning lake surrounded by volcanic mountains and islands. This day is more relaxed, allowing time to enjoy the scenery, nature walks, or simply unwind by the lakeshore. Dinner and overnight at Lake Mutanda Resort

Golden Monkey tracking and Transfer to Lake Buyonyi
Starts with Golden Monkey trekking in the bamboo forests near Mgahinga, offering a lively and colorful primate experience. After the trek, they drive on to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda’s most scenic lakes, do a afternoon boat cruise exploring the scenic islands after we check in at Arcadia Cottages and enjoy the peaceful surroundings for their final overnight stay.

Departure
After breakfast, they embark on the long but scenic drive back to Entebbe, passing through rolling hills, rural villages, and countryside landscapes. Upon arrival in Entebbe, they are dropped off for their departure flight, marking the end of a memorable 12-day Uganda safari adventure.
