This 7-day Gorilla Tracking Safari offers an unforgettable wildlife and primate experience across Uganda’s most iconic national parks. The journey begins with your arrival and overnight stay in Entebbe, followed by a scenic transfer to Kibale Forest for a nature walk in the Bigodi Swamp. You will track chimpanzees in Kibale before continuing to Queen Elizabeth National Park for classic savannah wildlife encounters, including a morning game drive and a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. The adventure continues to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the endangered mountain gorillas, where you will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla tracking experience and a cultural community walk. The safari concludes with a drive back to Entebbe in time for your late evening departure, leaving you with lasting memories of Uganda’s rich wildlife and landscapes.

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge or take a short optional walk along the shores of Lake Victoria. This day is mainly for rest and recovery from your journey, allowing you to prepare for the adventure ahead. Dinner and an overnight stay will be in Entebbe.
Following breakfast, you will head into Kibale Forest for an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience. Accompanied by experienced rangers, you will trek through the forest in search of chimpanzees and other primates, learning about their behavior and the forest ecosystem. After lunch, you will drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying views of crater lakes and the Rwenzori Mountains along the way. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.
The day begins with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, and a variety of bird species as the park comes to life. After returning to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, you will take an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This cruise offers close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, and numerous water birds, making it one of the highlights of the park. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.
After breakfast, you will depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and travel south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The drive takes you through beautiful landscapes, including rolling hills, forests, and rural communities. You will arrive at your lodge near Bwindi in the afternoon, where you can relax and prepare for the next day’s gorilla tracking experience. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.
After breakfast, you will begin your return journey to Entebbe, enjoying the changing scenery as you drive across Uganda. Lunch will be taken en route, with optional stops for souvenirs and photography. Upon arrival in Entebbe in the late afternoon or early evening, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport in time for your late evening departure, marking the end of your memorable 7-day gorilla tracking safari.
