Tour Plan

Day 01 Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins in the morning with pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately 2–3 hours away.

Upon arrival, you enter the park for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, creating a unique landscape unlike any other park in Tanzania. The Tarangire River serves as a vital water source, attracting large numbers of wildlife.

During the game drive, you may spot:

Elephants in large family groups
Lions, leopards, and cheetahs
Giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and buffalo
Various antelope species
Over 500 bird species for bird lovers

In the late afternoon, you exit the park and drive to Karatu or Ngorongoro area for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge or tented camp.

Day 02 Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend approximately 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World.

The crater hosts one of Africa’s densest wildlife populations, making it one of the best places to see animals in a short time. A half-day crater tour offers excellent opportunities to see:

The Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino)
Hippos in freshwater pools
Large herds of zebras and wildebeests
Hyenas, jackals, and other predators
Flamingos and other birdlife around Lake Magadi

You enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while surrounded by wildlife and stunning scenery.
